Thank You New Braunfels!

Today's hero is Cliff Hyatt, aka Robinhood 21, who put together an incredible event for Vietnam veterans and their families yesterday in New Braunfels. It's like ITSOTB Mission Logistics Coordinator Bob Baird said this morning, "that's the template for taking this film to the screen." A huge salute and thanks to Cliff and all those who helped support the screening of ITSOTB at the beautiful Brauntex Theater. It was great to see so many of our old friends and to make a lot of new ones and to be together, once again "In The Shadow of The Blade."

I'll post (better) photos and more updates soon when Robinhood "Double Knot" John Deer sends his much more professional pictures to me. I'll also be telling you about some of the veterans who are taking great Vietnam causes around this country, several of which were displayed yesterday. Until then, thank you to all who welcomed us to South Texas yesterday. It was an honor. And a good time.

I'd like to congratulate Cliff, John, JJ and all the Robinhoods and the entire crew who made this great documentary.

I also appreciated the chance to try and help out. It was an honor, not a task.

ITSOTB, dosen't have the music a Vietnam Vet would think, it's better, you have no idea where your going, but soon you love being there.

I have been to Angel Fire, The Wall, and many other memorials and ceremonies relating to Vietnam.

Angel Fire, really was the most emotional event of them all, it's breathtaking and takes you right back into the Nam.

ITSOTB, took a toll on me almost as much as Angel Fire, it took you back into Nam, but kept you here at the same time.

Watching ITSOTB should be a mandatory requirement for every student in America, from 5th grade to Grad school.

The Robinhood's are Honored to have been a participent in this showing of ITSOTB in New Braunfels, Tx. I personally thank Michael Edward's [339th]and his wife Linda for making such a long journey to support the effort. And my friend 'Brasso' for all of his help.

I pray for all Vietnam Veterans to view this film, and open their heart's to the message. Many of us have done so, and are the better for it. As Crossbow39nr, I give you my dutyful word. Those of us that have made the journey before you, have cleared the way for your path to healing. There are no emotional trip wires, bouncing Betty's, or punji sticks laying in wait. You are 'free and clear'..... "Come Home"
